'Makinti' an Australian Aboriginal female name from the Pintupi language. Pintupi is a dialect of the Wati Languages spoken by the First Nations People of the Western Dessert area (parts of Western Australia and Northern Territory). The meaning of this name is not yet known to me at the moment, if you know, please send me an email.
A known bearer of this name was Makinti Napanangka, an Australian Aboriginal painter.
